5 months agoThis home cooking café is a true gem. The food is delicious, clearly made with care, and tastes like a home-cooked meal done right. The service is friendly and welcoming, and the prices are more than fair for the quality and portions. A place you’ll want to come back to again and again.

7 months agoStopped in on my way home in Cody from a visit in Thayne and Afton. Ordered the bacon mushroom Swiss burger with fries. Service was impeccable, restaurant was very clean, food was excellent. The fries were delicious, just like my own homemade ones. The burger came with mayonnaise on it, but it wasn't glooped on like some places do. I don't like mayonnaise but it didn't detract from the quality. Knowing this, next time I drop by, I will ask for no mayonnaise but it wasn't a big deal.

9 months agoWe ate lunch at the horseshoe Cafe. Stopped on our way home from the Tetons. The food was huge and tasty. My husband had the chicken fried steak sandwich and I had the chicken fried steak sandwich. Both were wonderful. Our friends had the double bacon cheeseburger. It was so large he had to take half of it home. Prices are really good and the breakfast looked good. But it only goes till 11:00 and we got there a little after 11:00 so we had lunch and it was wonderful. We would definitely go back

Edited 9 months agoThe place we wanted to go was closed and we found this place. It’s your all American breakfast place where employees know what they are doing👍 I had vegetable omelet and my husband had biscuits and gravy. My husband cannot eat meat because of his health so they switched sausage for hashed brown. Very nice. Space is not your luxury breakfast but food is good.

10 months agoSuper friendly staff. The plates are big, big meals. Del8cious breakfast. On the road from Alpine to Salt Lake City. I recommend this place for everyone. We were very satisfied.

2 years agoWe stopped here just by chance on the recommendation of Melody in the gas station down the road. My partner had the veggie omelet and said it was the best he'd ever had and he has had plenty. I had a side of French toast and an over. Easy egg and it was delicious. They brought me extra powdered sugar 3 times, all smiling along the way. They had plenty of staff, and all of them were super accommodating and friendly. We highly recommend coming here. Awesome!

2 years agoThis place is open for breakfast and lunch. I have only ever eaten breakfast here. If you get there before 9am in winter or before 8am in summer, you will have no problems getting seated. If you are late, you will wait.|My two favorite things about this place: 1) most items are house made, and 2) the staff genuinely like each other.|Otherwise the food is pretty standard cafe food. The servings are a touch big. I have to pay attention to what I'm ordering so I don't overeat. The breakfast sandwich is good. The short stack blueberry pancakes are good.|If you're there during lunchtime...order your pie first so you don't miss out.
